Its the first week in September and everywhere on the TV has something to do with this election. It was quite entertaining to watch all the drama unfold yet sickening to hear all the lies. Now, I am a sensitive person so I tend to go with my gut feeling about people. This technique is not a 100% accurate, however I have found its pretty close. If you blatantly lie to me or others, I will likely never trust your words again. A lie is serious in my book of morals. Now, I am watching all of this back and forth which is always the case during elections, and then I noticed something very important. I noticed, that people were NOT picking up on the lies. They were actually believing this stuff. I thought to myself, oh my this is some serious stuff right here! Was this different way of thinking a characteristic belonging to a particular party? Maybe, but I didn't know enough about politics to really figure that out yet. I had to do some more research on it.
Ok, so I know some of you are wondering if I even vote. Yes, of course I do and I have been voting ever since I turned 18. Oh sure, I've missed a couple of times over the years but overall I have been a faithful voter. I am what you call an uninformed voter though. (well used to be, but not now). This means I really didn't educate myself on ALL the topics that each candidate stood for. If you look a bit deeper, you will find they change their minds over these topics often. It is what we call an ever changing environment and some have even changed their parties. So, it is hard to keep track of them but not impossible. Now, when you start to look at what each candidate stands for, you will figure out which party you tend to agree with more by relating to that candidates answers to questions. I can honestly say that I am 46 years old, and never really knew or understood about this party stuff until this year. Again, never been much for politics. So, when others asked me what party I favored, I usually said depends on the candidate. Haha, yeah so there you go! Go ahead and laugh with me, but you know in your heart we should all be thinking along those lines. I mean really think about this for a moment; you are never going to find the perfect man or the perfect candidate because a perfect man doesn't exist for one. And number two, if you raised a person to be president from birth, and sheltered them away from doing anything wrong so they would have no skeletons in their closet; then you just raised a man to be president that has zero wisdom. You gain knowledge by trial and error in this world. Yes, even through a sinful nature. You cannot learn right from wrong simply by reading a book, you have to learn the emotions and how to deal with those emotions right along with the experiences in life and also learn to take responsibility for your actions. Without this knowledge of emotions and learning how to connect and sympathize with others, you could never be a good leader for the people.
So, in order to find the right candidate, I need to understand what the parties mean and where I fit in.

Contrary to what most people think they know about political parties, there are a wide variety to choose from other than the two most popular ones. For the purposes of this blog and time, we will stick with the democratic and republican parties. If you haven't noticed folks, everything is being redefined in our society. Its very important to hang on to your old dictionaries and a copy of the US Constitution. In fact, its never been more important! Ok with that said, lets start by looking up the definition of democratic party.
1 : of, relating to, or favoring political, social, or economic democracy
2 capitalized : of or relating to a major U.S. political party associated with policies of helping the common people and encouraging cooperation between nations
3 : of, relating to, or appealing to the common people
4 : favoring social equality : not snobbish
My interpretation of this definition is a democrat is primarily for the common people. They encourage cooperation between people and nations and are easy to get along with, not snobbish or ugly towards others, and can easily relate to the common people for social equality. Economically they believe in a bigger federal government, big spending and think the rich should be paying more taxes to even out the playing field.
Ok, lets define republican party.
Republic means: (1): a government in which supreme power resides in a body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by elected officers and representatives responsible to them and governing according to law (2): usually primarily associated with business, financial, and some agricultural interests and is held to favor a restricted governmental role in economic life (3): favoring, supporting, or advocating a republic (4): belonging or appropriate to one living in or supporting a republic
My interpretation of this definition is a republican is primarily a governed body of the people. Limited (smaller) federal government role and lean more toward states governing the laws of their citizens. They believe in the people running the nation by electing officials who represent their interests. They believe in small business and big business, and that your financial success comes from hard work, not hand outs. A believer of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, simplicity of a free enterprise.
Now that we completed this part, do you know which party you fit in to based on these definitions? You were probably just as surprised as I was after reading the definitions huh? Because these have definitely been redefined y'all. Based on these definitions I would fit somewhere in the middle on parts and then I'm definitely for keeping America as a Republic. Oh but some of you think we are a Democracy right? Well, you are partly right. These two overlap in a lot of ways, but we should all be careful not to redefine what our Constitution says because our forefathers were clearly against a democracy.
I now know the parties, so lets take a look at the candidates. First, lets take a look at the existing POTUS Barack Hussein Obama. To be fair, I will let you know that I did not vote for him in 2008. I voted for McCain (yikes). But I remember the night he was elected very vividly. I was watching it on TV with my mom. His acceptance speech was incredible I must say. He has such a smooth way about him when he talks. He is very eloquent with his words and can be very motivating. As I was watching the huge crowd of emotions, I began to cry myself. It was at that moment, even though I had not voted for him, I had a peace come over me and thought he may very well be exactly what our country needs. I would support him as my president in anyway I could unless he otherwise proved to me that I shouldn't. By 2012, his 4 year presidency had not proved to be a successful one. There were many promises made in 2008 that were broken or never fulfilled. In fact, his campaign sounded identical to the one in 2008. There are so many people suffering, I would be ignorant to say he had done a good job. In fact, he put our nation so far into debt and the debt wheel is still turning at record rates. (Yes, I am very well aware that this debt process started with Bush) So, I'm just not sure about this candidate right now. Lets look at the second one Mitt Romney. Mitt was a successful business entrepreneur meaning not only was his business successful, but he created it and built it from the bottom up. He was also a successful Governor which had devised a state run health plan and balanced their budget. Mitt clearly has some impressive credentials. Our nation has a huge debt crisis that needs to be fixed or we are going belly up. So, the financial crisis was in the top 3 concerns for me. He also has the ability to create jobs in America which is another crucial credential to helping this country. Ok so there are your two candidates. Yes, Ron Paul was another and he is an intelligent man with some great ideals. But with an election of this size, there was no way he was going to make it being in a party other than the two main ones. I am not going to spend a lot of time here on something that is in the past and we all know what the end result was. So, here is a summary of what these candidates stood for.
* Barack H. Obama - needs four more years to complete the process of "moving forward" and implement all the changes he claims the majority of Americans want for our nation. Example: implement socialized medicine via the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act aka Obamacare (I will cover more of this later as I will reveal important information regarding this)
* Rand Paul - whistle blower sounding the warning about the corruption within the government and where our country is headed. He speaks the TRUTH yet is seen by most as a conspiracy theorists (again another thing I will cover)
* Mitt Romney - a true American with an education and background of creating multiple jobs and running businesses. He has the ability to see the future of America and where it is headed so put forth billions of his own money to try and save a dying country by running for President. He understands the need for protecting our borders, creating jobs, increasing our military etc.
An important event happened during September before this election. Our consulate in Benghazi was attacked by terrorists and (4) Americans (including Ambassador Stevens) were killed. Just a day or two before this, our consulates in the middle east were being ambushed by protesters over a film about Islam that had been floating around the Internet.

So, things were heating up in the world but were we actually getting the answers as to why this was happening? No, we weren't. All we got was that these protests got out of hand and it was the fault of some filmmaker of this Islam film. In fact, we arrested this filmmaker which has called our first amendment rights into question. I mean, do we have rights anymore?

I might not be the brightest cookie in the cookie jar but I ain't no crumb! I smell a rat here! One thing I vividly recall is that I was staying in tuned to the TV in hopes that the president would come on and explain this situation to us. Remember in the good 'ole days when the President would break into the normal broadcast to give you important information on a critical event? Well, that is something of the past I'm afraid. Anyway, he did pop on one news station to give a quick update. But nothing was said about a terrorist attack. He did make a comment about religion which I found to be connected to this Islam film.

We are six weeks away from the election, and the thread of our nation is coming apart at the seams. This is the point where me and my husband start searching for answers. We started investigating into this ourselves a bit through the Internet and news articles and were glued to the television watching Fox News the rest of the time. As we read through the articles, we saw that below them are very opinionated comments made by individuals . Everyone was putting this attack into the election realm. We decided go join into the conversation and quickly find that people on the Internet are similar to people we see on the roads and in Walmart. YIKES! Anyway, we realize that everyone has their own opinion about things. But back in the good 'ole days, when you disagreed with someone, you would say something like this; "I see how you came to that conclusion, however, I have to disagree with you as I see this from another angle" Wow, would that be so hard to go back to those days? Such a nicer way to say you disagree. Well, unfortunately I learned very quickly who and what the NEW democrat is. Now, don't shut me down just yet until I explain. Remember when I said that everything is being redefined these days? This is one of those things y'all. We went through at the beginning what the definitions of the parties are. We read that democrats are for the common people, easy to get along with, not snobbish and are generally nice to others. We also read that they are more "in tune" on a social scale. Well, that is NOT at all what I was seeing. Somewhere along the way, this has been redefined OR there is definitely a new more radical type of democrat on the scene. Every comment I made, I was ATTACKED in some way shape or form. (Definition of attack: 2: to assail with unfriendly or bitter words) And, these individuals did not just disagree with me either. They go to the extreme of name calling and say very hurtful malicious things over the Internet. I am not going to just single democrats out on this. Every party has a part to play in all of this. But the lack of morals on the democrat side are duly noted. (Definition of morals: c: conforming to a standard of right behavior). We have some serious issues in our society folks. Did you know that today if you say anything about Obama that is negative then you are considered a racist? I had thought that our country had dealt with this color issue years ago and concluded that it is in fact CULTURE that makes people differ from one another, NOT COLOR. It is like everyone is walking around with a chip on their shoulder and they have an attack line for everything! Is it just me or does it seem like our country is GOING BACKWARDS??
I am going to use a camera as an analogy or tool for a moment to make a point. We can all get caught up in this battle over opinions and it will just eat at us and the longer it keeps going the more backward steps we all take. We get to the point where we walk around thinking everyone is our enemy. You know I am right about this one. So, just hear me out for a minute. I am using a camera for this analogy because it is widely used to take pictures or videos of our animated lives. We are animated creatures you guys. That's why everything is so dramatic! So, take this camera that's already zoomed in on our animated lives, and zoom it out a bit. Yep, keep going and going. Now, take a wider look at things. Take all your personal problems, put them aside. Take all the things that have happened in the past, put them aside. Take all your monetary needs, put them aside. And lastly, take your emotions, put them aside. Emotions are the key to all of this. Our emotions come from our past experiences in life. They come from our culture, how we were raised by our parents, tragic events, death, education, health issues, financial issues and all family unit suffering in general. Ok, so with all of this put to the side, what do you see? I know for some of you this will be a hard question to answer. But you should really practice looking at life from the "zoomed out" perspective. We spend a lot of time on things that we either have no control over, or they don't matter. But why? A great deal of people today still have no idea what their purpose in life really is. But why? Well, I can tell you this much, your purpose in life is much deeper than fighting over your opinion on the Internet. Ok, back to the question, what do you see? I see AMERICANS. Folks, it doesn't matter if you were born here or not, if you are a citizen of this nation then you are an American. Don't you think its about time we all start acting like it? While you have that camera zoomed out, can we all agree that something isn't right? We live in year 2013, we have the greatest technology at our fingertips, we have an awesome history from our founding fathers who wanted a nation of freedom, and we are a nation full of different ethnicity's. We should be the happiest people on the face of the earth because we are definitely the most blessed. Yet we are the most miserable. Don't believe me? We walk around in our own selfish worlds and take very small problems and make them huge. We would rather bully someone then make them feel good. We have the most vulgarities of any nation on earth. We have turned into a filthy corrupt nation! Something isn't right for sure because this is not how we were raised at all. This has all happened over the last 40 years or so. I did some research on this and I was SHOCKED as to what I found from 1985. You see, when I was little, I remember my parents talking about the KGB or the Russians. That was their fear back in the 50s and 60s that the Russians were coming to take over America. Some people even built bomb shelters in their backyards. I know some of you are old enough to remember this, but some of you have no idea what I am talking about. Does anyone remember Paul Harvey? He was a commentator over the radio back in 60's through the 90's. He always brought us the news and sometimes would add a little psychological twist on things. Remember? Well, do you remember this clip he did? How to corrupt a nation?
It is very scary listening to this today isn't it? I mean, it was like someone had shown him the year 2013. Now, the next video I want to share with you was taped just 20 years after Paul Harvey's message above. I warn you, this is the video that made me take that "zoom out" on life. Proceed with caution because this is an answer to what has happened to us over the last 40 years. You WILL have a different perspective on our government after viewing this video. You will be wondering, who is really in charge?
Are you mad yet? You should be! If there is one thing I cannot stand is someone messing with my mind! There is another video of the entire interview on YouTube. If you want to learn more about this infiltration of our society, I would suggest watching it in full. But for the purposes of this blog, the 9 minute video was enough proof to make my point. Folks, we have been brainwashed! There is no other way to explain our society. We were once known as the best nation on earth. We are no longer that nation. In fact, we are staggerly disintegrating while people just watch and shrug it off like its not their problem. It is a HUGE problem folks. Our brains have been trained through propaganda to believe in what they want us to believe in. They have been preoccupying our minds with a bunch of garbage! They want us to crumble. Why? Because there is a bigger agenda in the BIG scheme of things. The top 1% elite have been waiting for this day to take down America. They want to run the world folks. This is not a conspiracy theory, this is a conspiracy fact. Oh, and about conspiracy theory; remember I told you I would discuss this later? Ok, lets define conspiracy theory. ( a theory that explains an event or set of circumstances as the result of a secret plot by usually powerful conspirators ). Powerful conspirators aka top 1% elite. They have even taken this definition and demonized it to the point that everyone just laughs when someone talks about a conspiracy. I mean really, people are brainwashed into believing that people who talk about conspiracies are whacked out crazy paranoid people.
DO I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION YET FOLKS???
To be continued ~
